Television has come a long way since it first became a household item; with its black and white picture and giant dial to change the channels by. The images displayed on plasma televisions are usually very bright. More electricity is used when the scenes are bright and less power is drawn during darker scenes.

LCD Panels-Sony produces a large number of televisions with liquid crystal displays, generally in a series of three with each screen being a different size.

The electron beams are shot through the colored tubes, then deflected, causing an image on the screen. Some televisions on the market are still containing this internal set up, but many have been replaced by plasma and LCD panels. Although they are planning on phasing them out eventually, Sony does still offer this model with a 32″ screen.

The screen size on televisions manufactured by Sony run anywhere from 32″ to 70″ and have resolutions ranging between 576p and 1080p. Additional features that many Sony televisions offer include; anti-glare coating, auto power off, Mp3 playback, on/off timer, parental controls, picture-in-a-picture, scanning, and video noise reduction. There are so many different varieties and new ones being manufactured all the time. With this many choices, there’s bound to be something for everyone.
