Purchasing Beauty Aids for Less
As we age, we all wished to feel more youthful and young again and our only solution is with beauty products. You might think that they are expensive but they really aren’t if you know where to go.
The local pharmacy or department store often has substantial reductions on health and beauty aids during store wide sales. When this happens, buy in bulk, but make sure the products have a long shelf life and that you store them properly.
Grocery chains are also starting to carry health and beauty products and they are always less expensive so check there first to see if the brand you are using is being sold there.
Less manpower means more savings. The online stores have much less overhead so you can shop there with the confidence that you will be saving lots.
With bulk containers though, try to find whatever you need in Costco because they really have better prices than everyone else. If it’s sold there, you really can’t go wrong buying from them.
Join a shopping club with beauty products because they are very good with sales events in your area so you won’t miss any discounts ever again.
Deep discount stores carry a line of health and beauty aids, but any product that is for internal use or is to be used on bruised or damaged skin, should be scrutinized thoroughly to ensure it is not from a country or manufacturer with low manufacturing standards.
Use alternatives whenever possible. For example, you can even use baking soda as a toothpaste, or mix it with water to use it as an deodorant. It’s much cheaper.
Like everything else, use coupons and wait for sales. They are always the best way to save and the idea is simple but effective.
Beware of buying in bulk by getting the bigger bottle. The higher the volume, the bigger the opening and the more you will end up using so be careful.
