Omron Blood Pressure Cuff
If you need to monitor your blood pressure at home, you can easily get fast results using an Omron blood pressure cuff.
The simple blood pressure cuff connect to an Omron blood pressure monitor to display and record your results.
The blood pressure cuff is easy to use. There are two sizes, so first select the size that best fits your arm.
Then wrap the blood pressure cuff around your arm half an inch above the elbow. In the Omron cuff, you will see a small green marker that you align with the vein on your inner arm.
For best results, it is best to have the cuff unobstructed by any clothing and it's also a good idea to avoid eating, smoking, or exercising for 30 minutes prior to your test.
Then rest your forearm on a table so it is not hanging loose or flexing to stay in position. You just want your arm and your body to be nice and relaxed.
When you are relaxed and ready to take your blood pressure reading, you simply push a button on the corresponding Omron blood pressure monitor. The monitor will inflate the cuff, display your reading on the screen, and then deflate when it is done taking the measurement.
The whole process is very comfortable and quick.
