Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard – Ridiculously Convenient

A trend for the desktop PC user nowadays is to take advantage of a Bluetooth wireless keyboard. As a matter of fact, I work with a laptop exclusively and I sometimes prefer to use my Bluetooth keyboard with it, for comfort and ease of use when compared to the laptop keyboard, which is a bit restricting.

The ergonomic aspects of the keyboard is one primary buying point.

I don’t know about you but for me, having many wires around me is annoying and frustrating too. I have a surround sound LCD TV which is tremendous and I love it! But look at the back of it and the wires are popping out and in from all directions. Its a mess! Now okay, a few wires from a keyboard or even a single wire from a keyboard back to the CPU is no real big deal but the fact is, it still adding to the congestion. And for me, I like clutter free and particularly where I am working with my computer. So I don’t want to see a single wire when I am sitting at the computer. As the saying goes and its totally applicable here and less is more!

What about the capabilities of the Bluetooth wireless keyboard?

Why Bluetooth and not just go for infra-red capability? Bluetooth is now a universal standard for today’s computers, and its simple to network up various devices together, as we know.

Infra-red is very inferior now. Infra-red have a very short distance range capacity, and it also experiences a lot of radio interference.

The smaller size

Those who require a keyboard that is smaller due to a cluttered desk top or a limited working area should obviously consider a smaller sized keyboard. Keyboards can actually take up a fair bit of space and throw in the mouse and you do need a massive of room to play with.

Hot-Keys for programmes

Hot-keys could be something important to you and if so, search for a keyboard with them installed as extra. If you are unsure what a hot-key is, its a button on the keyboard that can run a certain program just by tapping that button one time. For example this may be your email program, or perhaps Internet Explorer, or something else you use repeatedly. A hot-key simply makes it quick, makes it speedy to get to where you want to go.

Simply down to the progress in battery life and advances in networking via wireless technology, one day soon every single thing that requires a communication pathway to your computer (and back again) will be wireless.
