6 Tips To Using Beauty Products Correctly
There are hundreds of different types of beauty products out on the market and sometimes it’s hard to know just how to use them the right way. If they aren’t used right, you will end up with a look that you didn’t want, and they can even make you look older, which no woman wants. And, you sure don’t want to end up on the “wrong” list by simply using makeup wrong. To make sure that you don’t fall into that category, here are six easy to follow tips on using basic types of makeup the right way:
Basic #1: Lip Gloss – This is one area where many women just glob it on and forget about it. In fact, you should wear it minimally so that you don’t look like you are dripping with gloss and instead have a dewy look to your lips. One light coat should be all that you need, and there is no need to go over your lips again.
Basic #2: Lip Liners – These are the main culprits behind some of the worst lip stick problems out there and are one of the main types of beauty products that are used incorrectly. Lip liners should only be used to shade in the lips, not to outline them. And, they should be within a shade of the lipstick that you plan to use, not a complete contrast to it. Also, you should not use lip liners to outline your entire mouth with a thick line, use it to shade and color your lips before you put on lipstick.
Basic #3: Eye Pencils – Eye pencils are an area of beauty products where you want to be a bit picky. Choose one that is softer, which will go on easier and blend with other makeup, such as eyeshadow, easier as well. When you get a pencil that is too hard, it will be hard to put on, can actually hurt, and won’t blend well.
Basic #4: Mascara – You will find this staple of beauty products in just about every woman’s makeup bag because it is easy to use and can be as dramatic or subtle as you like. But, you want to make sure to choose the right shade for your hair and skin tone, as some colors don’t contrast well, which is a mistake many women make. Also, make sure that any globs that come out of the mascara are brushed out quickly so that they don’t dry.
Basic #5: Eyeshadow – You want a good quality eyeshadow so that you aren’t using tons of it just to see it. Also, you want to make sure that you have the right shade for your skin and eyes. Keep in mind that no matter what color your skin and eyes are, silvery eyeshadows will make your eyes look brighter and help revive bags and dark spots under your eyes.
Basic #6: Color Correctors – For some women, they use these on a daily basis when they don’t need to. Color correctors are only made to be used for those that have ruddy complexions or problem blood vessels in their face. But, when used without a reason, they are noticeable and look terrible. If you use them, make sure that you have reason to use them.
When you follow these tips on using basic beauty products, it is so much easier to perfect your look and ensure that you don’t look older or fall into the “wrong” category. Also, you can then build on making sure that your makeup is perfect and you don’t have to worry about messing up too much any longer.
And FYI, any product that contains urea should only be used on the heels. http://www.natural-remedies-for-you.com/blog/health-care-products/ You might also try wearing cotton socks, instead of synthetic socks and alternating your footwear from day to day.
